The VP92+ was released in August of 2024

Below is a list of the items that stayed the same:

  • Same exact physical form (same case, same remote, same wires)
  • Ability to play content from SD, USB, LAN, SFTP, URL
  • Able to play content from our cloud services (StudioWeb/StudioPro)
  • 2 Year warranty
  • Free technical support

Here are main upgrades made to the VP92+

  • Instead of using an internal micro TF card for internal storage, we have removed the TF card and built in 64GB of RAM. The on board ram has a much faster access speed and is more reliable
  • The main processor has been upgraded to a Quad-core ARM Cortex-ASS which is much more powerful and faster. 
  • The OS has been upgraded from Android 7 to Android 12
  • The GPU has been upgraded to a ARM G52-2EE
  • The VP92+ can now play 4K videos at 60fps without issue
  • The embedded software (see image below) has been upgraded to allow for the following features:
    • Play content from new sources
      • YouTube
      • HDMI IN
      • IPTV
      • Website
    • Split Screen
      • Play 2 types of content on 2 screens from SD/USB/LAN/SFTP
      • Play 2 types of content on 2 screens from SD/USB/LAN/SFTP - IN SYNC
      • Load 1 or multiple files and the VP92+ will split them in 1/2 and then loop in sync
      • Play different sources - For Example: Screen A = USB / Screen B = YouTube or Screen A = SFTP / Screen B - Website
    • Use interactive devices with HDMI IN - Example: HDMI IN (Security Camera for example) plays, once motion is detected the screen plays a 1 minute video on a USB
    • You can now scan any barcode (UPC, etc) to play a related video using USB/SD/SFTP or LAN
    • Smooth photo transitions
    • Studio Web can now schedule content
    • Ability to update embedded software with a click of a button
